PAGW (Paediatric Anaesthetists' Group of Wales)

The Paediatric Anaesthetists Group of Wales (PAGW) was formed in 2002 under the Presidency of Dr Peter Lloyd Jones. It held its inaugural scientific meeting that year at Gregynog Hall, Newtown, Powys The Group is affiliated to the Society of Anaesthetists in Wales and recognised as a regional body by Association of Paediatric Anaesthetists of Great Britain and Ireland (APAGBI).

Aims:

• To promote the highest standard of anaesthetic care to all children in Wales

• To promote interest in and knowledge of paediatric anaesthesia

• To organise meetings to achieve this purpose

• To encourage and coordinate research in the subject

• To coordinate communication with all those who seek advice on matters of professional relevance
