Society of Anaesthetists of Wales/Cymdeithas Anaesthetyddion Cymru
The Society of Anaesthetists of Wales/Cymdeithas Anaesthetyddion Cymru is an organisation representing all anaesthetists in Wales. The aim of the society is to foster clinical and scientific development of members and to enhance the practice of anaesthesia in the principality.
There are generally two meetings a year, a Spring meeting in Brecon and an Autumn meeting in North Wales.
Spring Scientific Meeting, Brecon Theatre

As always there will be the trainee presentation prize with 3 categories: Audit, case presentation and original research (entry forms and instructions are attached). As it is the Olympic year, the theme will be anaesthesia and sports and we have many exciting and interesting speakers lined up. Autumn Scientific Meeting, St Pierre, October 20-21st 2011

This years Autumn Scientific meeting will take place at the luxurious St Pierre Hotel and Country Club, Chepstow on 20-21st October. It is a joint meeting with the Welsh Intensive Care Society (WICS).
Spring Scientific Meeting, Brecon 18th of March 2011

The meeting was held in Brecon on the 18th of March 2011.
The meeting was very successful, with presentations of a very high standard, as evidenced by the number of joint prizes.
